Matt attended Wittenberg University where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Business Management and Economics. While studying at Wittenberg, he began his insurance career with the team at Hill & Hamilton Insurance as an intern in 2002. During this time, he was responsible for evaluating high-value property for H&H clients to ensure businesses were properly protected.
Post-graduation, Matt gained valuable experience working as an underwriter for a leading insurance company in Columbus, Ohio. During this experience, he successfully completed the required course work and exams to earn his Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Matt quickly realized his passion to help people protect their assets and their financial future would be best served at the agency level.
In 2006, Matt joined the team of advisors at Hill & Hamilton where he works with clients to fulfill their goals of proper protection and peace-of-mind. He specializes in helping physicians protect their livelihood and focus on their patients as opposed to their malpractice insurance. He also enjoys designing specific insurance programs for families and businesses searching for great protection, outstanding claim service and a fair price.
During his free time, Matt enjoys volunteering in the many community and industry organizations to which he belongs. He also enjoys spending time with his family and continuing his professional development.
